Wynyard Golf Club has had a very wet July and August is also dumping more water on to our course. Whilst this is good for the ducks and the water fowl, golfing became a little difficult on Tuesday the 4th of August ! It was the traditional Vet's Day at Wynyard and the tee bed of the fifth hole was moved forward to allow the big hitters to get on the green with one shot and those of us with shorter drives to get over the lake of water ! It must be written that the rest of the course was in top condition !
